Our ultimate goal when shooting isn’t just to create ‘beautiful’ content, but to capture something truly meaningful - something real. Our images evoke emotion, capturing stories authentically and communicate the truth of a moment. Catching your best friends teary smile or a tight embrace from a distant family member, this is the true content we aim to capture for you.
Okay, we can all agree – it's hard to fully be yourself when you're with people you don't really feel like you know all that well. That's why, from day one, we make it our focus to truly get to know you both – to invest ourselves in your life and understand your personalities... the things that you love and treasure the most, the parts of your life that showcase who you both really are.
But beyond simply getting to know you, we also want you to feel equally as comfortable with us – because relationships go both ways. We don't just show up with our fancy cameras and create staged content… we are all about real.

It's that simple, the best thing about developing a relationship with each other is that, once we've gotten to know each other, we can head out on our shoot and have a casual, relaxed time together where you can feel free to be completely yourselves. We approach each shoot as a blank canvas, tailoring our shooting style to your personality allows us to capture the most authentic content that you can be proud of - and excited to show off!
ON THE SHOOT
HOW WE WORK
Once we’re actually out on location with a camera, our love for relationships and spontaneity totally plays into the way our session progresses. We'll laugh a lot, listen to some great music (we’ve been known to bring a bluetooth speaker with us on shoots), have some great conversations, and overall just have a relaxing, fun time together.
No matter where we decide to shoot, beach or forest, the chances are we’ll end up wandering off the path in search of some awesome undiscovered location. Or maybe we'll end up climbing up a mountain or jumping in the lake just because – whatever you'd like to do to showcase your personality, we're there.
Ultimately, it's about leveraging the relationship we've built with each other to create some content that is uniquely you. So it's okay to detach, disconnect and be your true selves.

Because we view our work as a partnership, we work hard to resource you as much as we possibly can so you feel fully informed and confident going into your shoot. We have built guidebooks, resource pages, and Pinterest mood boards to help inspire you – but it goes further than that. If you have questions...we are here to help answer them. Need help planning things out? We have got you! Want some location advice, not a problem we will gladly help out with that! We are not self acclaimed experts in everything, but we have years of experience behind the camera and love helping out my clients in any way we possibly can.
We. Are. All. About. Communication. No, seriously. We have been known to start group chats and send GIFs back and forth with our clients. We LOVE talking with you about your vision for your shoot, what you're hoping to accomplish, and trying to answer any questions you might have way before we actually pick up the camera and start creating content with you. Once we pick up our cameras, though, we'll keep the communication going – our shoots are relaxed and candid – full of laughter and conversations. It's all about keeping that line of communication open so everyone feels relaxed and comfortable.
I know we’ve already said this, but we are absolutely not here to just be "the photographers". We know how important and long-lasting the work we create is so we view every step of this journey as a partnership. We are here to work with you, to embark on this journey alongside you, and to help you every step of the way to ensure that the memories we capture together truly and fully reflect exactly who you are. Our ultimate desire is to pair our personal creative style with your unique personality and create some amazing content that reflects exactly who YOU are as a person – not just what you look like.

We're not about uncomfortable forced poses - but we'll work with you to make sure you look amazing on camera!
This is where our experience comes in to help you shine bright in front of the camera. Our shooting style takes into consideration that mostly everyone struggles to feel totally natural on camera. So instead of trying to force you into weird, static poses where you don't feel comfortable, we'll work with you to create movement, curate authentic emotion and evoke playful laughter. We'll chat, laugh and hang out until those moments happen naturally, for us to capture it all on camera.

We're perfectionists when it comes to the work we create. We allow ourselves sufficient time to complete projects to the highest standard.
We are without a doubt committed to delivering the best possible quality work we're capable of creating. We will not overbook ourselves to allow each project to be completed at those high standards. We work very hard to deliver everything on-time, if not early, and we'll stay in touch about this the whole way through). We won't promise you a full gallery within a few days because we want you to receive the best work we can deliver...and that takes time. We will of course edit and release to you privately some highlights of your day chosen by us to share with your friends and family (if you wish).

We're husband & wife, and also a family - So we limit the amount of work we take on each year to maintain a healthy balance.
Through our own experience in life, we have learned it's best not to accept every single project. We take pride in putting our family first over a heavy loaded, creative plateau, burntout working schedule. Instead we limit the amount of weddings / elopements we cover each year, providing you with the best creative minds possible.

As crazy as it sounds, our work isn't primarily about taking pictures. We may be titled as 'Photographers' and sure we use cameras as a method for capturing moments but when you strip it all away, down to the very basics, we're all about building relationships with our clients so that we can curate experiences... together.
